Cord ends are often used for materials like leather and ribbon. The cord end
provides a neat finish and a loop to connect a clasp or another component to the
cording. Since knots can fray or come undone, a cord end is a good option
for materials that don't attach securely to regular findings.
Insert the cord or cords beneath the center
plate. If you have several cords, gather the ends then trim them flush.
You can also place a drop of craft glue and/or tie them in a knot to help hold the
ends together. Press the enter plate down followed by one side and then the
other. Press until all sides are firmly and evenly folded
and crushed together.
