  • Even your office desk deserves a little bling :-)

Inspired by a cute paperclip… yes a paper clip, I thought I’d give my office supplies a refresh. Using E-6000®, pliers, a bead reamer, thumb tacks, paper clips and some super cute charms my office supplies took on a new life! They’re certainly a little different but I love how fun they are. I’m hoping the next time I turn in paperwork that my cute little clips will bring a smile to whoever is on the receiving end!

For the thumb tacks I simply took the loops off of the charms (using pliers) and ...

  • DIY Table Top Earring Holder

    From the wonderfully crafty Jennifer.

Looking for a quick DIY earring holder idea that costs less than $3? I made this simple holder for a jewelry class when I wanted to showcase inspiration pieces. All you need is a two sided frame and a sheet of plastic canvas.

The frame is a 4x6” two sided plastic table top frame purchased from IKEA®. The 14-count white plastic canvas was purchased at a local craft store.

    3. Just ...

  • Place Card Holders

As a follow up to the wine charms from a few weeks ago I decided to venture into making place card holders. With only a few of my jewelry tools, round nose pliers and wire cutters, I began by making the base. Starting with a 2 foot length of 16 gauge wire, I made a loop at the end and formed the circular ...

    Simply Charming Travel Jewelry Envelope

I love to travel and I love to accessorize.  I’m always challenged to find a way to get my jewelry in my suitcase, without taking up a lot of space.  I created this soft, lightweight (an important feature when dealing with the cost of checking bags!),  and very cute cozy to store my jewels when I travel.  It is a snap to make and will keep your jewels warm and cozy.  These would make great holiday gifts.  Especially with a handmade bracelet tucked inside!

    Supplies:

    (1) 9 ” x 12” piece of felt

    Scalloped Blade ...

  • Say hello to "Nikki, in Stitches" & welcome her to the Cousin Blog!

Like many crafters, I dabble in a lot of mediums. My favorite place to be is behind the wheel of my sewing machine, but you can also frequently find me knitting, scrapping, beading….pretty much, you name it, I do it. So when this project popped into my head, and I realized I could use my jewelry making skills to create a beautiful stitch marker I would use on a regular basis in my knitting…well, I couldn’t wait to get started!

    Materials:

    Beads for chandelier style marker:

    • 10 Crystazzi 6mm Bicone beads: Pink

    • 7 Crystazzi 6mm Bicone beads: Crystal
