Sales Assistant

Cousin Corporation of America is currently looking to add a Sales Assistant to join our growing team. The sales Assistant will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our sales activities.

To be successful you should be able to analyze large amounts of data, accurately project sales trends, identify sales opportunities, and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market share.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
  • Process, format, and revise data from various internal and external sources.
  • Data Integrity: Work with Sales and Creative teams in ensuring the accuracy of all product data in the system including product descriptions, required key data fields and images.
  • Data maintenance-Work with existing database to ensure data accuracy across all items.
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
  • Contributing to the development of sales presentations and objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
  • Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses.
  • Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
Sales Assistant Requirements
  • Degree in business administration, finance, or marketing.
  • Experience in sales analysis.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Projection and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

E-Commerce Catalog Coordinator

Cousin Corporation of America is currently seeking an experienced E-Commerce Catalog Coordinator to add to our growing and evolving Sales Department. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, motivated, and a persistent self-starter who strives for data driven results with an excellent attention to detail. This position reports to the National Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages product listings on marketplace platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and our own sites.
  • Makes product and process recommendations as necessary.
  • Manage and review online merchandise presentation to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing, and site placement are accurate and meet brand standards.
  • Develops and directs the ecommerce merchandising digital strategy -- what products are we featuring to whom, how, when, and where.
  • Partners with website operations and enterprise merchandising on promotional planning across categories.
  • Review competitive pricing and conduct market research on products.
  • Create new and update existing products on the marketplace platforms.
  • Conduct site audits for content accuracy, work with content team to continuously upgrade content.
  • Work with product team to gather relevant product content.
  • Continuous product presentation improvements including short, long descriptions, key features, photography, etc.
  • Aid in monitoring sales, inventory, product reviews, price monitoring, and brand registries to efficiently increase traffic to product detail pages and store landing pages.
  • Ensure best-in-class product detail pages across marketplaces to ensure successful content creation and upload to various marketplaces.
  • Analyze Brand catalog and suggest bundles, new product opportunities, or other strategies to grow sales and increase market share.
  • Assist in new item set up, testing, and product launch for marketplace platforms.
  • Maintain marketplace platform scorecard.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Solid understanding of shipping and fulfillment requirements for online marketplaces
  • Self-starter, able to think analytically and pursue maximum efficiency for data driven results
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to absorb and apply constructive feedback
  • Experience in women's’ lifestyle and/or jewelry industry is a big plus
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Communications, Marketing or combination of education and work-related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience listing and managing products on E-Commerce platforms
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with all of Amazon’s paid marketing solutions
